Graduation ceremonies are a little bit different in the days of COVID-19. Some schools are postponing ceremonies all together until restrictions are lifted and others are holding virtual events.

A virtual ceremony for École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur was livestreamed last night. You can play back the ceremony below.

Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon arrived at the virtual ceremonies as a way of celebrating the achievement of students while preserving social distancing measures.

“We wish our graduates a great deal of success in the next stages of their life. We encourage them to tap into the wealth of knowledge they have acquired in CSC Nouvelon schools and to remain outstanding and well-rounded citizens who are proud to be Catholic and Francophone and are ready to take their place in society,” said André Bidal, CSC Nouvelon board chair.

Watch as Sacré-Coeur valedictorians Stéphanie Séguin and Cam Maki "cap off'" their high school careers, on behalf of their fellow grads.
