Sudbury MPP is now the fourth northerner in Premier Kathleen Wynne's cabinet

Sudbury MPP Glenn Thibeault was sworn in this morning as Ontario's new energy minister, joining three northern MPPs to hold cabinet posts.

Besides Thibeault (Energy), Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro is Municipal Affairs minister (formerly Natural Resources and Forestry); Sault Ste. Marie MPP David Orzietti is Community Safety and Corrections minister (he was formerly Government and Consumer Services); and Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP Michael Gravelle is Northern Development and Mines minister.
