The heroes have saved the day!
This morning the much-anticipated Superheroes for Little Heroes event saw members of the GSPS Tactical Unit exchange their uniforms for superhero suits to rappel down the side of Health Sciences North and bring a little Halloween fun to the patients on the pediatric unit and NICU.
Prior to the event, pieces of rope were sold in order to help superheroes reach the little heroes. Thanks to community support, the event raised $52,000 for the NEO Kids Foundation.
