Residents and businesses of New Sudbury, Coniston and Garson may notice low water pressure on July 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while a section of the main trunk line is shut down in order to install a new watermain connection.

To compensate for limited water supply, residents are asked to reduce water consumption whenever possible.

Residents who notice discoloured water once water pressure is restored are asked to run the cold water tap closest to their water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes.

In the event of prolonged discoloration or low water pressure, residents are asked to call 3-1-1.
