A water main break has closed both northbound lanes on Barrydowne Road, said the City of Greater Sudbury.
One lane will be maintained in each direction.
Westmount Avenue, from Barrydowne Road to Elmhurst Crescent, is closed to traffic.
Local and emergency vehicle access will be maintained. Repairs are expected to be complete by late this evening.
