There has been a watermain break behind the Place Bonaventure Mall in Chelmsford, resulting in its temporary closure along with the walking path between Keith Avenue and Regional Road 15.

Crews are on-site, according to a press release from the City of Greater Sudbury, and expect repairs to be complete by the evening of March 23.

Residents in the surrounding area may have or will experience discoloured water as a result of this break.

Should this occur, residents are asked to let the cold water tap closest to their water meter run slowly for several minutes to clear sediments from household water pipes.

Residents who experience a prolonged period of discoloured water or low water pressure are asked to report the incident to 311
