West and South End residents may be experiencing low water pressure

Full pressure should be restored by 3 p.m. today

If you live in the West End or the South End of Greater Sudbury, you may have noticed the water pressure at your residence isn't what it could be today.

Maintenance work at the David Street treatment plant on Ramsey Lake is the reason, the city said in a news release.

The work began at 11 a.m. and should wrap up by 3 p.m.

You may notice discoloured water once pressure is restored. If that's the case, run the cold water tap closest to your water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment.

If your water stays discoloured or pressure doesn't return, call 3-1-1.
