The Human League and United Way present the Spirit of Christmas Concert this Friday (Nov. 18) at 7 pm at Laurentian University?s Fraser Auditorium. Featured is Jeff Wiseman and the Greater Sudbury Firefighter Choir, with special guests, the Kampana Handbell Choir and pianist Damain Laframboise. Chuck Labelle and Robert Paquette will launch their third Christmas CD, Noel en tout et partout this Saturday (Nov.19)at the Shrine Centre on Highway 17 past Mid North Motors at 8 pm followed by a wine and cheese at 10 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and students. Opening house at Lampinen Fine Art and Custom Framing on Regent St. this Saturday (Nov. 19). Sudbury artist and gallery owner Sue Lampinen is celebrating 10 years of promoting the arts, hers and others, this Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm at Lampinen Fine Art and Custom Framing, 1350 Regent St., Sudbury. Other artists featured at the open house will be Cheryl Battistelli, Barry Bowerman, Gwen Doyle and Debra Lynn Ireland. All have new works and will be demonstrating their skills.
