Wolves extend their winning streak to four games

Saturday’s away game against the Hamilton Bulldogs ended with a 6-3 win for the Wolves

The Greater Sudbury Wolves remain undefeated in 2023, with Saturday’s away game against the Hamilton Bulldogs ending with a 6-3 win for the Greater Sudbury team. 

This follows Friday’s home-game win against Oshawa, which was the team’s first match of the year.

During Saturday’s game, Ethan Larmand, Kieron Walton, Alex Pharand, Matthew Mania, Nathan Villeneuve and Evan Konyen all hit the net for the Pack.

Alex Assadourian had two assists, while Konyen, Nick DeGrazia, Marc Boudreau and Andre Anaia all had one.

Goaltender Kevyn Brassard, who officially joined the team that day, made 17 saves, securing his first win with the Wolves.

The Wolves’ next game is this afternoon (Jan. 8) at 2 p.m., when they face off against Mississauga at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre. 

The Greater Sudbury team’s next home game will be Jan. 11, when they play the North Bay Battalion at the Sudbury Community Arena, with a puck drop of 7:05 p.m.
