The minister responsible for women?s issues, Dianne Cunningham, has announced $2.3 million in funding for 27 community organizations working to help women create economic opportunities and increase their safety.
Sudbury Women?s Centre can expect a cheque $67,500 to develop workshops aimed at improving women?s safety and helping women achieve economic independence.
