Update: Chelmsford man gets a four-wheeled Roll Up the Rim prize

Robert Cornett claimed his prize today in Chelmsford

Robert Cornett's coffee of choice from Tim Hortons is a large double cream.

He gets one on a regular basis.

The Chelmsford resident is also a regular winner when it comes to Roll Up the Rim To Win. He's won donuts, free coffee and other small prizes, so imagine his surprise when he rolled up the rim on Feb. 22 and won a new car.

“It was a great day,” he said.

When he first rolled up the rim, the thought it said he won a coffee. He had to go get his glasses to read it correctly. He was so excited, he went back and tipped the drive-thru workers $40.

“It's nice to be a winner.”

Now that the keys are in his hands, he joked about doing donuts in the parking lot. Instead, he settled for cake and donuts (the pastry) inside.

This is the 25th anniversary as Tim Hortons owners for Randy and Kelly Annett.* They said presenting Cornett with the car is the perfect way to celebrate their milestone anniversary.

While Cornett won the car, he chose not to take the new vehicle, and opted to sell the car back to the Honda dealership instead.
