YMCA hosting Job Fair on Nov. 16

YMCA Employment Services is hosting a Job Fair on Nov. 16, at which various employment opportunities will be made available

Various employers are coming together on Nov. 16 to participate in a Job Fair at the Elm Place mall in downtown Sudbury hosted by YMCA Employment Services. 

At the event, prospective employees, “will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters and hiring businesses within the skilled trades at the YMCA Employment and Immigrant Services office on Elm Street in Downtown Sudbury,” according to a media release issued by the organization.

“Whether you are new to the skilled trades or experienced; there is an opportunity for you.”

Available job opportunities will include labourer, welder/fitter, millwright, painter, electrician, refrigeration mechanic, sandblaster, automotive tech, HVAC tech, sheet metal worker, project manager, sales and gas fitter tech.

Hiring employers will include Legend Mining, Greater City Concrete Works, One Source Home Services, Patrick Mechanical, Patrick-Sprack Ltd, S2 Metal Fabricators and Bisschops Industries.

Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes and to be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

Parking is available in the Elm Place Mall, and parking passes will be validated.

The event is taking place on Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
