Even as prices in some parts of Greater Sudbury are well below the buck a litre mark, stations in most of the city proper are still charging 104.6, according to GasBuddy.com.

The cheapest gas in the city is 97.9 at three Chelmsford stations — Mac's, Pioneer and UPI Energy. The most expensive gas in the city 105.3 at Shell in Capreol.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas costs 93.7.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 97.7. The cheapest gas in the province is 72.9 in Ohsweken. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 134.9 in Chapleau.
