The Terry Ames Care Fund is back for another year, and this time they'll be raffling off a brand new Chevy truck.

In 2015 they had their first Cancer Support Draw and thanks to thousands of people who bought and sold tickets, they raised $70,000 for the Terry Ames Care Fund.

This charity supports families in Northern Ontario who are fighting cancer by offering financial support.

Since 2012, they have raised more than $130,000 through golf tournaments, donations, book sales and the Cancer Support Draw, and have helped more than 100 local families. As the awareness of the fund grows so does the demand for raising money for these families.

"We are very excited to announce the 2017 Cancer Support Draw," said Terry Ames Thanks to the generosity of Crosstown Chevrolet, we are able to offer the grand prize winner the choice of a full size GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Crew Cab or a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Black Out Edition."

The draw date is July 20, 2017 which is Ames' official “Cancer Free Day”.

"That is the day I was told my cancer was gone, my family and I celebrate this special day every year," said Ames.

"This year we get to celebrate with the lucky winner of the big draw!"
