You might find your water pressure a little low tomorrow

Residents of Coniston, Wahnapitae, Markstay and Sudbury, including New Sudbury, may notice low water pressure during the morning and afternoon June 7 while the water main feed from the Wanapitei Water Treatment Plant is temporarily shut down.

Residents will continue to draw municipal water from the Ellis Reservoir. To compensate for limited water supply, the city is requesting residents reduce water consumption whenever possible.

The city suggests that if you notice discoloured water once water pressure is restored, run the cold water tap closest to your water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes. In the event of prolonged discoloration or low water pressure, residents are asked to call 3-1-1.
