Young Einsteins converge for annual science fair

Sudbury's finest young Einsteins will put their science to the test this weekend during the 47th annual Sudbury Regional Science Fair competition.

Sudbury's finest young Einsteins will put their science to the test this weekend during the 47th annual Sudbury Regional Science Fair competition.

“Brilliant minds come together under one roof, bringing with them science projects that have taken weeks and even months to perfect,” said a news release.

The preliminary competition takes place Saturday, April 9 between 1-4 p.m. at Laurentian University's Alumni Hall.
The awards ceremony happens Sunday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. at LU's Fraser Auditorium.

“This year’s competition will bring together 94 young science students from grades 7 through to grade 12, presenting innovative projects pertaining to computer technology, engineering, physical and life sciences,” said the news release.
