Non-swimmers and beginners between the ages of six and 12 can improve their skills this summer thanks to a pilot program run by the Healthy Kids Community Challenge and the City of Greater Sudbury.

The program offers free swimming lessons at the Bell Park Main Beach and Nephawin Beach, beginning July 9.

Healthy Kids Begin to Swim lessons are scheduled over four weeks, Mondays to Thursdays, for 30 minutes each day.

Class size is limited. Families are encouraged to register for at least two week-long sessions by phoning 705-674-4455, ext. 3819.

Greater Sudbury Transit tickets are available for participants who need transportation assistance.
