YWCA Sudbury is holding a "non-partisan" panel discussion on women's election issues tonight (May 16) at 7 p.m. at Sudbury Theatre Centre.

The meeting will feature local speakers on violence against women, indigenous women’s issues, women and homelessness, women’s economic opportunities, health and child care.

All local candidates in the upcoming provincial election have been invited to attend, but they will not be members of the panel.

“Our concern is to encourage people to vote in the upcoming provincial election. We just hope to assist voters in making informed decisions,” said YWCA executive director Marlene Gorman.
