The TD Canada Trust at the corner of Elm and Durham Streets celebrated its centennial Friday. The bank opened at 16 Durham St., Dec. 16, 1902; It was called the Bank of Toronto at the time.

Mended Hearts elects new president
Otto Rennenkampff is the new president of the Mended Hearts Chapter in Sudbury. Mended Hearts is a voluntary support organization dedicated to helping people with heart disease. Members visit patients in hospital and have been doing so for 20 years.
