A water main break off Burton Avenue in the Donovan area of the city has resulted in water being shut off to several streets in the area, according to a notice sent out by the City of Greater Sudbury around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

A woman was stabbed in the Bessie Avenue area shortly after midnight on Sunday, report police.

A 45-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested in connection to gunshots fired in the Donovan on July 30, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. A 63-year-old man was already arrested in connection to the incident.

The headline, which appeared in another publication, implied the attacker was from the area, when in fact he was a Newfoundlander who had been kicked off a Vancouver-bound bus.
