Daughter of Elmer and Agnes (Thompson) and Grace Carruthers. Loving wife of William Abel, mother of Linda Bayley (Jack Schmidt), sister of Donna Mather (Joe, predeceased), Ross (Joan), Susanne Zinkie (John), Dean (predeceased) (Ann), and Gary (predeceased) (Patti), and sister-in-law of Glynis Dickin (Kevan).

Born July 21, 1947 in Deep River, Ontario died May 28, 2022 in Sudbury, Ontario.

At Cynthia’s request everyone who attends her funeral is asked to wear bright clothing. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.

Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury

Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 2PM. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Parklawn Cemetery.
