The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband to Suzanne (née Meilleur) Bailey. Loving father of Carrie-Anne Tippin (Randy), Shannon Skraba (Kevin McKee), Robert (Cassandra Wight) and LiWei Cao. Cherished grandfather to Will, Jack, Ellie, Elayna, Isaac, Lilianne and Rebecca. Son of Ian Bailey (Maxine) and the late Isabel (née Clark) Bailey. Dear brother of Sandra and Stewart Bailey. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and incredible friends. Steve was a skilled carpenter and a talented artist. He had a gift for storytelling and was an incredible teacher that touched the lives of all those who knew him. A special thank you to Dr. Noble, the oncology team at Health Sciences North and the team of doctors at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited for a celebration of life after 1:00 p.m. at the Sudbury Curling Club, 300 Wessex St., Sudbury.
