With great sorrow the family announces the passing of Steven Francois  Beaudoin at the age of 45 at Health Sciences North surrounded by family, due to ongoing illness on January 7th.

He leaves behind his wife Angela Quast, daughter Riley Beaudoin (age 20, her mom Laura Ellis (nee Depatie), his son Ayden Beaudoin (age 10) and his dog Mia. He also leaves behind his father Jules Beaudoin and step mother Noella Church Beaudoin, and his mother Jacqueline Bianconi (nee St Martin) and step dad Fernando Bianconi.He also leaves behind his mother in law Sandra Miller and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and extended family members. He is predeceased by all his grandparents.

Steven was born in Sudbury Ontario. He worked for Procor Ltd as a railcar repair man fixing railcars and welding for 22 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and friend to many. Steven loved to fish, camp, and listen to music especially country music, but in his younger teen years he was heard humming and singing his favorite 1985 tune Never Surrender by Corey Hart. He loved the outdoors. He was also a great cook. He loved watching his sports on TV with his son Ayden and loved going to live games with his family. When his daughter Riley played hockey he took her to many practices and games, he even coached her hockey team a couple of years. He also took Riley to her karate classes and horse back riding classes.

He promised to always take Riley to Marine Land,it was the one place she always wanted to go and he made sure it was the best trip ever. Every summer he made sure to bring Riley and Ayden to Canada’s Wonderland and baseball or basketball games. Steven loved taking Riley skating at the rink, then going out to get poutine. Steven loved his poutine, whenthe family took a trip to the East Coastthey stopped for a day in old Quebec City and had a real Quebec poutine.Steven would play catcher pitcher with his son Ayden for hours, Ayden loved playing this with his dad. Steven loved playing catch with Riley, Ayden and his wife Angela. He loved playing mini sticks and skating with Ayden as well. Steven and Riley’s mom (Laura), always brought Riley to dance when she was younger. His children, wife, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins will love and miss him very much. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Donations in memory of Steven can be made to a charity of choice.
