The family announces with profound sorrow his sudden death on Friday, October 21st, 2022 in Sudbury at the age of 73 years. Beloved son of Émilien and Françoise (née Robert) (Laurier Cholette) all pre-deceased. He leaves behind a loving wife of 49 years, Aurore (née Joyal). Loving father of Kevin (pre-deceased) (Christine), Dawn (Luc), Natalie (Alain) and Louis. Proud Pepère to 8 grandchildren, Roxanne (Will), Melissa (Darren), Sarah, Janelle (Jordan), Josée, Patrick, Sophie, and Chloé. Precious great-grandfather of two, Ila and Liam. Loving brother of Estelle (Richard)(pre-deceased), Thérèse (Dimitri), Marie, Jean (Pat), Henri, Pierre, Arthur, André (Suzanne) and Émilie (Aaron). Beloved brother-in-law to thirteen of Aurore`s siblings and their spouses. Gérard will always be remembered for his willingness to lend others a hand with his many skills and passions. A celebration of life will be held at North Edge Pentecostal Church, 264 Lévesque St., Sudbury, on Tuesday, November 1st at 2pm. The Beaudry family will welcome friends and family after 1:30 p.m. at the church. In memory of Gerry, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
