BEAUGRAND, Claire (nee Therrien) - 71 years, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Sam (1997). Loving mother of Karen and John Baillargeon, Sandra Beaugrand and Cliff Townsend, Tina Beaugrand and Kurt Vandeputte . Dearest mémé of Laura, Joseph, Dylan, and Venessa. Predeceased by her sisters Lorie Seager, Vivian Morin, Jean Neilson, Noella Delongchamp, and brother Ray Therrien. Dear sister-in-law of the late Marce and Leo Thibert, Alfred and the late Mary Beaugrand, John and Bernie Beaugrand, Lucille Partridge and friend the late Gord, Mary Lou and Francis Laliberte, Paul and Jan Beaugrand, the late Rena and Charlie Leboeuf. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Claire was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399, Past President of the Catholic Women's League, a member of the St. Simon and St. Jude Church Ushers Club, the Good Neighbour Club and the Belle River Optimist Club. Claire was the former secretary at St. Simon and St. Jude Church. Visiting will be held at the MELADY FUNERAL HOME, 572 Notre Dame Street, Belle River (519-728-1500) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. C.W.L. and Good Neighbour Club Prayers Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and R.C.L. Branch 399 Service at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Procession will leave the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. to St. Simon and St. Jude Church for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
