BECHAMP, Raymond Rheal Joseph - In Loving Memory of Raymond Rheal Joseph Bechamp, 65 years, who passed away Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 at the SRH-Laurentian Site. Loving husband and soul mate of Carmen (Foucault) Bechamp of Capreol. Loving father of Martin Caldwell of Panorama B.C., Tommy Bechamp (wife Joelle Mussio) of Victoria B.C., and Zephalie Bechamp at home. Dear brother of Cec Bechamp (wife Aileen) of Brampton On. Predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Reta (Sawyer) Bechamp, brothers Allan, Romeo (wife Mary predeceased), father-in-law Leo Foucault and mother-in-law Lucy (Desforges) Foucault. Survived by his wife's family Claude (Darlene), Philip (Shirley), Gerry (Barbara), Danny (friend Lynn), Lorraine Bean (Terry), Jimmy (Joann), Pat (Connie), Larry (Judith), Don (Lara) and Marie (Jeff Kenwood). Will be missed by his nieces and nephews Marcy, Lisa, Andre, Keith, Dawn, Diana, Denise, Shawn, Mandy, Chris, Stacey, Darcy, Daisy, Danny, Phil, Terry, Jennifer, Jim, Jamie, Corrine, Logan, Brooklyn, Declan and their children. Ray will be missed by his many friends, fellow Knights of Columbus Council 3866 Capreol and the Capreol Lions Club members. Raymond Rheal Joseph June 16th 1944 - September 22nd, 2009. After working in Toronto for eight years, Ray returned to his birthplace where he owned and operated Reta's Confectionary for 19 years, until health problems forced him into early retirement. Over the years he was very involved in the Capreol community. He helped start the Norman Cub Pack, acting as Chairman and fund raiser. He was Chairman for many years of the Norman Recreation Committee. He was appointed to the Neighbourhood Improvement Program (NIP) and spent many hours fighting to bring water services to Norman Township. One of his proudest moments was co-signing the cheque for 1.6 million dollars in government fund to complete the project. Ray was the Captain of the Capreol Police Volunteer Services for many years. An active member of the Capreol Lions Club, Knights of Columbus Council 3866 Capreol, and Country Ski Club until his health problems intervened. He also served as a minister of the Eucharist at Our Lady of Peace Church for several years. Ray enjoyed the years that his family was involved with the Children's Aid Society. He was foster Dad to many children for eleven years. Carmen proposed to Ray in January 1976 and they were married in Capreol in August of that year. They worked side by side in the store spending many pleasant hours chatting with family, friends and loyal customers over coffee. Special thanks to Drs. Mallette, Fay, Goluch, McDonald and Devan and the nurses and staff in the Dialysis Unit. Memorial Mass in Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at (time to be confirmed).
