In loving memory of Desire Gérard Bédard, who passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Health Sciences North at the age of 81 years. Born December 17, 1940, in St Hélène de Mancebourg, QC, to Marie-Louise Gonthier-Bernard and Charles Bédard both predeceased. Beloved brother of Jacques Bédard, Louisette Lapierre, Rosaline Richard, Marie-Noelle Desputeau and Jean-Guy Bédard. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews to name a few Daniel Lapierre (Danielle), Huguette Way (Emerson), Francine Richard (Art), Hélène Desputeau. Will be sadly, missed by his many great nephews and great nieces to name a few Daniel, Kevin, James and Josée also many relatives and friends. Desire spent most of his life working in the Forest Industry. He was an avid animal lover - mostly dogs (he always had dog treats for them) but he always took care of his birds and pet fox.
Big hearted, kind, loving who was always there for his neighbours and friends, especially his Capreol community. Desire loved to volunteer and help wherever he could.
He was the man who will be remembered as the person with the "funniest and best sense of humour" it was like no other. He was quick whited with his one liners, and his jokes will be truly missed. He was never blessed with children of his own. Yet truly loved all his nephews and nieces as they were his own. Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
