In loving memory of Nell Bilous (Dudar), 92 years of age, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at home. Beloved wife of Orest (Ernie) Bilous predeceased on December 24th, 1998. Loving mother of Linda (Scott), Nancy (Gilbert), Terry (Anne), Donnie and Patricia (Chris). Cherished Baba of Jennifer, Wendie, Carrie, Larissa, Zachary, Breanne, Matthew, and Bradley. Great Baba to Cayse, Sophie, Chelsea, Danica, Jackson, Ella and Benson. Dear daughter of Panko and Pauline (Zalucki) Dudar predeceased. Loving sister of Helen (Alex predeceased) and Elizabeth (Victor), Anne (Tony) both predeceased, Jennie (William) both predeceased, Mary (William) both predeceased, William (Irene) both predeceased, Olga (Peter) both predeceased and Edith predeceased. Nell will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Ethelbert, Manitoba. She married Orest in 1953 and moved to Sudbury in 1958. Nell was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Coniston where she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was involved in many events planned such as spring/winter teas, bazaars and working in the kitchen. She loved gardening, Canning, Puzzles, bingo, colouring, reading, dancing, knitting, and sewing. She also enjoyed playing card games with her family and storytelling to the grandchildren. On birthdays, Nell always baked her famous “graham wafer cake”. Nell was strong in spirit and twice a cancer survivor. The light of her life was always her family. She will be missed forever with love.
Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may gather from 2-4:30pm and 6-8pm Wednesday. Funeral mass will be at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church, 48 William Street, Coniston on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 10am. Panakhyda will be at 7pm Wednesday. Interment in the St. John’s Cemetery, Garson. Face masks and social distancing are mandatory. Donations in Nell’s memory to the CNIB would be greatly appreciated.
