It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of James Charles Bisson, in Sudbury, on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Jeannine Alexander. Stepfather of Ginette Alexander (Phil), and Sean Alexander (Liane). Dear Grandfather of Kayla, Sascha, Anthony, James, Katrina, Mallorie, and Gabrielle. Predeceased by his brothers John and Francis “Frank”. Sadly, missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a wonderful husband to Jeannine and doting grandfather to his grandkids. In his early years he enjoyed sailing and worked for INCO as a graphic designer. He had a passion for genealogy and was part of a local genealogy club. He was a gentle man who made everyone laugh with his witty sense of humor. The family would like to extend gratitude to the nurses and physicians on 7 North at Health Sciences North, who cared for Jim during his final days. Your kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed. In lieu of flowers, donations made directly to the Sudbury Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. A service will be held at St Patrick’s Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury, on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:00 am. All COVID-19 protocols must be followed.
