The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 61 years. Son of the late Alexandre and of the late Jeanne-Claire (née Martel) Bissonnette. Loving father of Richard (Jasmine). Dear brother of Thérèse Léger (late Aldérice), Agnès Labelle (late Oscar), Marcel Bissonnette (Diane Labelle), Albina Bigras (Michel), and Suzanne Bigras (late Pierre). Predeceased by his brothers Roméo (late Lucie Bigras), Benoît and Richard. Cherished grandfather of Dakota Walsh, Greyson Walsh, Willow Bissonnette and Arie Bissonnette. A veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, who has proudly served his country throughout numerous worldwide missions. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury. Due to the current pandemic, a maximum of 85 will be able to attend the service and masks are mandatory. Père bien-aimé de Richard (Jasmine). Cher frère de Thérèse Léger (feu Aldérice), Agnès Labelle (feu Oscar), Marcel Bissonnette (Diane Labelle), Albina Bigras (Michel) et Suzanne Bigras (feu Pierre). Prédécédé par ses frères Roméo (feue Lucie Bigras), Benoît et Richard. Grand-père adoré de Dakota Walsh, Greyson Walsh, Willow Bissonnette et Arie Bissonnette. Comme ancien combattant des Forces armées canadiennes, il a servi son pays avec fierté dans de nombreuses missions à travers le monde. Une messe funéraire sera célébrée le mardi 8 septembre 2020, à 10 h 30, à la paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins, à Sudbury. En raison de la pandémie, un maximum de 85 personnes pourront assister au service et les masques sont obligatoires.
