"Life is precious and often much too short". On January 8, 2022, I lost my life partner of more than 30 years, Nathanial lost a mother who cherished him more than anything in the world, Evie her faithful and loving Portuguese water dog lost her number one treat giver.  Brothers Dale, Joe, and David lost their only sister who did her best to be their pillar of strength.  Lastly, Agathe lost her only daughter who was her most precious gem.

Yolande, much loved by husband Alex Gryska and son Nathanial Gryska, was a perfectionist when it came to keeping things in order. Everything had to be in its place.  Gardening was her passion and her flowers were the envy of the neighborhood.  Life became perfect for Yolande two years ago when camp in the West Arm became our forever "Home".  After almost 30 years of loyal and hard work at HSN Yolande's retirement dream was within arms reach.

Thank You to the Paramedics and Health Workers that did everything in their power to keep Yolande with us – we appreciated your care and effort. In lieu of flowers, donations to NEO Kids or the HSN Cardiac Unit would be appreciated. A celebration of Yolande’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
