BRABANT, Armand - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the age of 65 years. Son of the late Lionel and the late Fernande (née Giguère) Brabant. Beloved husband of Diane Brabant (née Bouillon). Loving father of Suzanne Leblanc, Lianne Rivard (Marc) and Daniel (Breigh-Ann Peddle). Dear brother of Maurice, Georgette, Richard, Suzanne, Gilbert and Claude. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Amanda, Mathieu, Chloé and Justin. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Armand was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was a miner with Falconbridge Ltd., having retired in 2004. The family wishes to express its appreciation to Dr. Sami, Dr. Noble, Dr. Andrenowski and the staff at the Oncology department at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. The family will receive relatives and friends in Ste-Agnes Church, Azilda on Wednesday September 7, 2011 after 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1p.m. Donations (by cheque only) to Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
