The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death at home, surrounded by his family, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Suzanne (née Chartrand) Brassard of Sudbury. Son of the late Armand and of the late Jeannine (née Roy) Brassard. Loving father of Natalie Jodouin (Gerry) of Hanmer and André Brassard (Julie) of Capreol. Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Mathieu, Martin and Justine. Dear brother of Hélène Moyle (late Lester) of Hanmer and André (Claudette) of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Denis was happiest when surrounded by his family at camp, where he loved fishing. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice will be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
