It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Erika Bretschneider (née Hromadnik). Loving father of Helmut (Debbie), Harry (Marylou), Sue (Kevin), Monica (Michael), Ken (Patrice) and Karen (RJ). Cherished grandfather and great grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Heidi. Dear friend of Diane. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In keeping with Horst’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
