In Loving Memory of Cicilia Brooks (nee McComber) born on December 12th, 1962, who started her journey home in the early morning hours of May 12th, 2020 in the company of her daughter Barbara and son in law Brad Daigneault. Cicilia is predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Linda McComber, sister Judith McComber, and special auntie Doreas Gilbert. Loving and devoted wife to Don Brooks, mother to Lori-Anne Vaidelis (Ray Byers), Barbara Vaidelis (Brad Daigneault), and Dante Porter, special grandmother to Dustin, Raiden, Savannah, Judith, Kassity, Kallie, and Karly. She will be greatly missed by her siblings James, Helen (Jean Pierre Gingras), Sylvia, Amelia, Marina, and Norbert McComber as well as her large network of extended family and dear friends. Cicilia will be remembered for her courage, bright spirit, sense of humour, generosity, and hospitality. She was a gifted cook and took pride in her ability to organize and host parties and gatherings. A close friend to many, Cicilia was known for her vivacious zest for life and warm demeanor. Cicile loved music, to sing and dance; a love which was instilled in her daughters and granddaughters alike. She was a proud member of the Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation and a fierce self-advocate. Over the years, Cicilia courageously battled her illness with an indescribable amount of will and determination, inspiring others with her bravery.

A private family service was held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
