Harold Edwin Brydges
1946-2024
It is with much sorrow an amazing man passed away on November 15th, 2024. Born in Almonte, Ontario, arriving as the 4th child of ten. Predeceased by his parents Orville and Gladys Brydges. Beloved husband of Lucille Brydges (nee Nicholas) married for 58yrs. Cherished dad of Kim (Jason Harris) and Rodney (Tracy Daminato). Proud Grandfather of Kayla (Josh Crump) and Carly (Lee Giroux). Proudest Great-Grandfather to Seth and Amelia. Kindest brother to Beverly (predeceased), Clarence (predeceased), Blair (Lynda), Bruce (predeceased), Joan Scott (Kevin), Roy (Debbie), Stephen (Mary-Ann), Daryl and Heather Denvir (Basil). Dear Brother-in-law to Willie and Marion.
He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews, and so many close friends.
He moved to Sudbury in 1965 to work at INCO and shortly after met the love of his life. He enjoyed working with some great friends and always had a funny story about his work family when he got home. When he had a day off, he enjoyed spending his time camping on Manitoulin Island, fishing in the summers, hunting in the fall, and again fishing in the winter. He sure enjoyed the outdoors. If anyone needed a hand, he was always there to help.
His happiest moments were spent with his family enjoying good times and out on the lake with a rod in his hand.
Hope he is having a great day on the lake with the sun on his face, reeling in a big one.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Memorial Visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call after 10am Friday). Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Chapel on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11am.
Cremation with internment in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery.
