It is with heavy hearts and treasured memories that we announce the passing of Kelly Burke.

She passed away at Health Sciences North on April 9th at the age of 60. Close friend of Debbie Tait, Daughter of Elva (Roque) and Kenneth Burke both predeceased. Loving sister of Lucy (Henry St. Amant), Jamie (Cathy), Kerry Raymond (predeceased), Brant (predeceased), Karen (Darren McVey), Christina (predeceased) and Rose. Cherished aunt of countless nieces and nephews. She was loved and cherished by all her family, extended family and friends. She will be especially missed two of her good friends Carmen Sampson and Lynn Dussiaume whom she met every week to play cards with.

Kelly was born December 2, 1964, lived in Sudbury and worked at HSN for 31 years in Maintenance as grounds keeper. Kelly was an incredible person inside and out, radiating love to the people around her. She loved fishing, cooking for others, being on the water and of course keeping the family sugarbush going. She loved to sing and dance to her favourite country songs and her laugh and “can do” attitude always made it fun to be around Kelly. She was always generous with her time and love and would help anyone who needed her. Her wood chopping and piling skills were unmatched and we will always be inspired by her strength.

Her memory will forever be a source of inspiration for everyone to have fun, dance like no one is watching and just enjoy life as much as you can.

Her family and friends are going to miss her incredibly and everyone is welcome to join to say their goodbyes at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St Sudbury on Friday April 18th, 2025, 2pm-5pm with words of remembrance at 4pm. Cremation with interment in the family plot in Killarney at a later date.

In lieu of flower donations Heart and Stroke Foundation or HSN Foundation would be appreciated (cheque only or online) www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com
