With love, many wonderful memories and countless life lessons throughout the years, we are sad to say that Ronald Philip Burton (Ron), has passed. Known for his witty greetings, unexpected responses, and the ability to turn any conversation into a circus show. If he paused for thought, you knew to prepare yourself for the most unlikely response. A master of stirring the pot and leaving people trying to interpret his words.  He loved making people smile. Ron enjoyed a long career as a car salesman and then moved on to Superior Propane, where he retired with a wealth of knowledge repairing propane appliances. He became the go to guy if you’re furnace quit on a cold winter day, or your propane fridge failed during the heat of summer…  Always willing to lend a hand and help solve a problem. Born in Garson, ON, February 4th, 1937, to Vernal Burton and Jeanne Burton (nee Roy). Beloved husband of Cheryl Burton (nee Head). Father of Todd and wife Dorie (nee Truax). Loving Grandpa to Timothy and Derek. Brother to Clyde, Richard, Sunny, Roy (predeceased) and Herby (predeceased). Ron and his wife Cheryl shared their lives on a property that they lovingly nicknamed Hungry Hollow.  With plenty of wildlife, a creek running through, a mountain for a backdrop and amazing starry nights… a piece of paradise as unique as they. The kitchen table was where he sat with many… sipping on coffee, solving the worlds problems, and offering up million-dollar ideas. Ron enjoyed a long healthy retirement; he was proud of the fact that he fished for more years than he worked. Happy… content… rich in friendships… loved by many, Ron lived his life the way he wanted…. doing what he enjoyed and enjoying what he was doing. He lived life for 84 years, he will be missed.   Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted at www.RangersSudbury.com
