It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosina (Bagnariol) Bussoli, 98 years old (March 23rd, 1924).
Predeceased by husband Enrico, her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Loving mother of Josie “Pina” (husband Dario Petovello), Emilia Cuddy (predeceased) and Leo (wife Lori) all of Sudbury. Devoted Nonna to 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, and Australia. Rosina was a caring, selfless, generous person who always put the needs of others first. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren’s achievements. She was a hard worker, and a perfectionist in everything she did.
A woman of many talents, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t master. A great seamstress, sewing her daughters beautiful wedding dresses and custom-made clothes. An excellent cook, especially her pasta and gnocchi dishes. She also had a great passion for gardening. A very proud and independent woman, Rosina lived on her own until a year ago. A sincere thank you to all the staff, nurses and PSW’s at Extendicare Falconbridge for their care and compassion, for making Rosina’s stay as comfortable as possible.
Cremation will take place with a private family service to follow. In memory of Rosina, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Homes.
