CARON, Jean-Paul “J.P.“ - Peacefully, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the SRH (St. Joseph's Health Centre) in his 61st year. Son of the late Gérard and of the late Florence (née Thibodeau) Caron. Beloved husband of Cory Caron (née Rouleau). Dear son-in-law of Bev and Val Rouleau of Onaping. Loving father of Jordan Rouleau of Levack, Carol Naubert (husband Guy) of Elliot Lake, Donald Boucher (wife Leona) of Kagawong, Louise Ouimette (husband Ron) and Nicole Dyer (partner Mario Fernette) of Levack. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Melanie, Derek, Jessica, Melissa, Stephanie, Christopher, Marc, Nadine and his great-grandchildren Abigail, Evan, Kamdyn and Caitlyn. Dear brother of Jeannette Gravel, Noëlla McLean, Noëllande Cté, Rollande Paquette, Annette Caron, Clément Caron, Solange Lamarche, Fernande Caron, Fernand Caron, Gaetan Caron and brother-in-law of Rick and Penny Rouleau. Predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Armand and Normand. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. J.P. was born and raised in Quebec, going to Timmins at an early age, thence coming to Levack and commenced working with Falconbridge Nickel Mines, retiring in 2000, having 30 years service in the mining division. The focus of J.P.'s life was his loving family who will miss him dearly. An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed many sports and was an avid Montreal Canadien Hockey Club fan and supporter. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR 15, CHELMSFORD, Monday, August 17, 2009 from 3-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Chelmsford. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or St- Bartholomew's Church Fund or masses would be appreciated.
