CASTONGUAY, Janet

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Janet Castonguay, on Saturday, October 1,2022 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Clarence “Joe” Castonguay of 45 years. Daughter of the late Muryald and Anne Therrien. Loving mother of Terry(Riitta,predeceased), Joey(Rachel) and Tanja(Mike). She will sadly be missed by her grandchildren Dustin, Savannah, Austin, Ashton, Brianne and Jesse. Beloved sister of Patricia Cayen, Corrine McNiel (Alex), Joan Mckee (Donald,predeceased), Marlene Byrnes (Kenneth), Mayva Lauzon (Andre), Terasa Laasko (Daniel).

After Janet had all 3 of her children, she went back to school to become a dedicated nurse. Her love for her family was felt by all. She enjoyed camping, time spent on the pontoon boat and fishing. She loved cooking for her family. She was an avid Gardner, always tending to her flower gardens. Janet was a kind, loving and generous soul who brightened the lives of everyone she knew.
