With great sadness and a broken heart David Cranston “Bugsy” passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Brenda at his side on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda (nee Bell) of 62 years. Predeceased by his son Robert “Rob” Cranston in September 2015, Rob was his pride and joy. Dave will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was a machinist at INCO for 36 years. Dave was a man that was always on the move. He loved spending time at the summer cottage on Manitoulin Island with Brenda, travelling the world, going to ball games in Toronto with the guys, curling in the winter, watching his favourite hockey team the Chicago Blackhawks, dancing, and meeting up with the Donovan Gang at the Croatia Club for a beer. Dave was a happy and caring person, he volunteered at Pet Save and was part of the Pet Save family. In lieu of flowers, donations made directly to Pet Save or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. “Take care of each other and give lots of hugs”. Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted at www.RangersSudbury.com.
