In loving memory of Darlene Joy Cryderman 69 years. Passed away surrounded by family on Friday, January 12th, 2024, at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
Cherished wife of 48 years to Darrel Cryderman. Loving mother of Tolin (Melissa), Shalon, and Lance (Danielle). Adored grandmother of Haley, Zoey, Cole, Kendric (Abbi), Sade, Cynshera, Liam, Mia, Victoria, Leland, and Elijah, and great grandmother of Nova, and Alora. Daughter of Bonnie Yeager (Ed predeceased of Florida), Earl Prime “Pop” predeceased, and Larry Fortune predeceased, and sister of Tom predeceased, Coral Spencer (Jack), Denise Finn (Mike), Larry, Donna, Richard, and Chris Fortune (Jenn). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, and nephews, family, and friends.
Darlene was born in El Monte, California on March 18th, 1954. Although she was born in the USA, she was proud to be a Canadian Citizen and resided in the Sudbury District for almost 50 years. She was most proud of the accomplishments of her children and always said that Lance’s success was her greatest joy. She was a master gardener, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Earlier in life, she was active with support of physically challenged athletic sports, and the local horse community.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and doctors especially Dr. Yee, Dr. Kearney and Dr. Baudouin at Health Sciences North for their care, and a special thank you to the Maison McCulloch Hospice for their exceptional compassion and care.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Falconbridge Legion on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 11 am -2 pm. Light lunch and refreshments provided.
