Chaput, John Gerald
John passed away on September 8, 2022, in Scarborough at the age of 65 years. Loving father to Rob (spouse Rachael) and son John (predeceased 2008). Beloved and eldest son of Genevieve (nee Walsh) and Gerald Chaput (predeceased 2003). He leaves to mourn his brothers Gerald (spouse Anna), Stephen (spouse Carole), and Richard. Predeceased by his sister Michelle (2010) and brother Daniel (2017) (Angele Seguin). John was uncle to Joel, Nicholas, Samantha, Scott, Bradley, Nathalie, Isabelle, Abbigail, and Andrew (predeceased 2001). Uncle John would always help with all their technical gadgets. John was a man of many talents. He was a music lover and also played a beautiful guitar, and if he was coaxed could render a song that was much enjoyed by his family and friends. He was quiet by nature and possessed the patience of Job when it came to auto repairs, computers and was a stickler for getting it right. He was employed for many years as a robotic technician with a large office furniture company in Toronto. If Heaven needs a good tradesman, Lord, one is on the way! May You Rest in Peace John and join with all family members who have gone before. You will be missed. A Memorial Service was held at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 2pm. Cremation was held.
