CHEPLECK, Jean (nee Lubinski) - In Loving Memory of Jean Chepleck (nee Lubinski) 90 years Monday afternoon, September 4th, 2009 at Sudbury Regional Hospital- St Joseph Health Centre. Beloved wife of Michael Chepleck predeceased 1980. Loving mother of Grace (husband Robert Hayden) of Cobden and Ken Chepleck (wife Grace Bryga) of Sudbury. Will be sadly missed by her granddaughters Anastasia “Stacey” and Lori-Ann and predeceased by her grandson Jason. Special great grandmother of Braeden. Predeceased by her parents John and Anna (nee Botrak) Lubinski and by her brothers and sisters Mike, Alex, Tony, Mary and Nellie. Dear sister-in-law of Rosie Lubinski of Arborg, Manitoba. Special aunt of several nieces and nephews. Jean was born and raised in Sylvan, Manitoba. She married Michael Chepleck in Sudbury in 1941 and worked as a salesclerk for Brights Wines Store for 20 years retiring in 1980. Jean was a member of St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Ukrainian Women's Club on Frood Rd., the Ukrainian Senior Citizen's Club and knitting was her most favorite pastime. Jean leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and all will be sadly missed. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church 40 Notre Dame Ave. Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at 10:00 am Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery, Sudbury. Friends may call from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Panakhyda at 7pm Friday. Donations in memory of Jean to the Ukrainian Senior Citizen's Center would be appreciated.
