In loving memory of Debra Lee (Dee) H. Clyke, 69 years, who passed away peacefully on 28th day of February 2023 at the Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties in Middletown, Ohio. Loving daughter of Gerald Clyke (predeceased) and Lillian Clyke (predeceased). Loving Stepdaughter of Linda Clyke. Beloved wife of Jonell Moreaux (predeceased) and loving mother to Samuel Moorman III and Jontae Moreaux (Sarah). Cherished sister to Sheryl Clyke (Bruce predeceased), Charmaine Querney (Tom), Geraldine Laforet (Paul), Gerald Clyke Jr. (Mandalena), Catherine Clyke (Sugith), James Clyke (Kathy), Henry Clyke (Lisa), Dean Clyke, Aaron Clyke (Melissa) and Tara Chapple (Mark).

Dee will be sadly missed by her beautiful grandchildren Veda and Jontae Junior (J.J.) Kamea, Klaire and Jayce. Predeceased by her loving grandson Jarmanni. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her best friend Estelle Padmore.  As an entrepreneur she devoted many years to the hair industry opening several salons and training stylist throughout Canada and the United States. Recently she enjoyed her time working at the Dayton Children’s hospital and took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow up while sharing in their lives daily.

Dee liked to keep busy always making herself available to help others whether in the community or at church. She had a strong passion for music, poetry, and anything artful. She was happiest when she was together with family and friends sharing laughs and good times. The family would especially like to thank Sarah and Jontae Moreaux for their loving care they selflessly gave to Dee daily.  We would also like to thank Dr. Hellan and the nursing staff of the Cancer Centre at the Kettering Health for the exceptional care provided.

Thank you to the staff at the Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties for everything they have done for Dee. Donations can be made to the Sudbury Maison McCulloch Hospice.   Celebration of Life to be held in Sudbury, Ontario at a future date.
