Copeman, Walter

With deep regret we announce the passing of Walter Copeman on Wednesday May 26th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital at the age of 95 Years. Born and raised in Quebec City, Walter came to the Sudbury area in 1981 and enjoyed twenty years with his wife Lorna (nee Murray) predeceased in 2002 at their home on Nepewassi Lake in Estaire. He was the loving father of Rev. Gerry Copeman. He is survived by his sister Vivian of Brockville, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sincere Thanks are directed to the loving and compassionate staff on the second floor and Rehab program at Extendicare York and to Charles Bolduc who welcomed Walter and Lorna to live out their final years with dignity on Baker Street in Sudbury. Funeral Mass At St. Patrick’s Church 39 Walford Road, Sudbury MONDAY, May 31st, 2010 At 11 A.M.
Walter’s cremated remains will be interred in the family plot in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Quebec City at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Patrick’s Parish Building Fund, Access Aids Sudbury or Extendicare York’s resident’s Council.
Visitation in the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Sunday from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. and at St. Partrick’s Church after 10 A.M. Monday.
