In loving memory of Jamie Geraldine Crane (nee Eby) 61 years. Passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with bowel cancer on Sunday, July 26th, 2020 in Espanola. Beloved wife of 40 years to Michael Crane. Cherished mom to her fur boys Charlie, and Buck who passed away last week and was waiting for her in heaven. Predeceased by her parents George and Doreen Eby (nee Lytle). Daughter-in-law of Don and Fran predeceased. Beloved sister of Michael (Chris) and sister-in-law of Jim predeceased (Jean), Janet (Tim), Grant (Gabe), Sandi (Dan), Sharon (Dave), Kevin predeceased and Kerri (Craig), Jamie Dunn (Lynn). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, especially Carol Robitaille (Andrew predeceased) & Rachel Bernier (Steve) and special aunt of Chelsey and Gerard predeceased.
Jamie was a valued 32-year employee at the Ministry of Natural Resources, retiring in December 2016. She cherished the many friends she made during her time with MNR. Jamie was a strong woman with a huge heart always willing to help. Jamie was happiest spending time at her & Mike’s dream home on Fairbank Lake, fishing, gardening and entertaining.
At Jamie’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be spread on her two favorite lakes Panache and Fairbank. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
