Born in Cellara, Calabria, Italy, in 1923. Immigrated to Creighton Mine in 1933, where she married Romeo in 1944. Was a resident of Copper Cliff for 73 years. A devout Roman Catholic, Mary was a faithful parishioner of St. Stanislaus Parish in Copper Cliff. She was a long-standing member of Societa Italia di Copper Cliff and the Catholic Women’s League and enjoyed attending their many events and functions. God and family were her two priorities her entire life. In addition to Romeo – the love of her life – Mary’s love and dedication to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was steadfast.

Mary was happiest around her kitchen on special occasions when she had her whole family gathered, to sit together for a home-cooked meal. Each meal was specific to the occasion, whether a simple Sunday or a holiday – Mary felt immense pride and satisfaction knowing that she could provide for the people she loved the most.
