1920 - 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Silverio on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville at the age of 101. Beloved husband of Alma Cuomo (nee Carbone), married for a loving 71 years. Cherished father of Phyllis Arsenault (Paul), Dennis Cuomo (Anna) and David Cuomo (Shelley). Devoted grandfather of Julian (Tana), Aaron (Kristy), Matthew (Chantel), Michelle (Christopher), Stephen, Patrick, Kimberly, Nicholas, Bradley and Andrew. Treasured great-grandfather to Tristan, Amaliya, Alexander, Austin and Alyra. Dear brother of Mary, Rose (deceased), Filomena (deceased), Olanda, Argia, Martha and Sam.
Silverio was a WWII veteran who was employed at INCO for 44 years. He was a founding member of the Sudbury Seventh Day Adventist Church, an active member of the Sudbury Coin Club, North Ontario Treasure and Relic Hunting Club but his main passions were his garden and family.
